Every piece of tax legislation has the presidents signature on it in order to become law, so the president raises taxes just as much as the legislature does. Who's the liar now?

So, if you want to stand by stating a president doesn't raise taxes, then obama is surely lying when he says his stimulus 2 is completely paid for, and then the plan shows the vast majority is on the backs of working families through..........increased taxes.

So if he does not increase taxes, he cannot truthfully state it is all paid for, now can he?

Oh, and all that country before politics bullshit? Then why is he saying he will veto any spending cuts that don't include tax increases? Does he not understand there are very few in the nation that don't agree the feds need to tighten their belts?

And here you libbies say you don't need to be told what to think. So let's take Larry the Cable Gay at his word that the President can't raise taxes.

Does that mean

1) you and your democrat shills have to stop saying that clinton improved the economy by raising taxes

2) that bush couldn't have lowered them and when Larry calls them the Bush tax cuts he is lying?
