For anyone of you who work for Jamie Hedges now or in the past, please know there are still good managers in this world. I felt hopeless when Jamie was targeting me a ways back. I was certain there were no good bosses left in this pharmaceuticals. He was unsupportive and abusive as boss. Human Resources would not do anything. I decided to leave. Jamie told my old teammates he had fired me. They all knew it was a lie but I was still humiliated. I was patient and thorough in my next job search. I have since found an amazing new position and do not regret leaving ITC. I hope others who are going through what I did know they don’t have to give up on this industry. It’s a great area to work in. You just need the right person to work. Gods speed to all of you enduring his hate.

Feel better now? Is that what your therapist suggested?

Go enjoy your new job. Just keep in mind there are multiple sides to every story. You were likely a subpar rep who just didn’t fit here. It happens.

Imagine working for a company and pretending to care about the mental health of others while being a narcissist all day long. Oh wait, never mind. This is Jamie Hedges we’re talking about.

Thanks Adam. We know you hate the sales force. Who’s on your target list next? Petty little HR minion.

And likewise. The reps hate the managers. Welcome to pharma sales. It’s been this way for 50 years and will remain this way until a more efficient way of promoting drugs is created.

Until that time, hit your call frequency metrics, deliver lunch and count your samples. Wash, rinse, repeat.

If you’re not a white man though, it don’t matter. Jamie will hate target you and run you into the ground lying.

I disagree with that. Anymore now, it pays (literal and figurative) to be a minority.

Heck, just look at the image capture. Why is the cat ALWAYS black? Same for the dog.
When Jamie is your manager and you’re not a white male, you live every day wondering when is it your turn to experience public humiliation at the hands of a maniacal manager like Jamie.

It’s not just Jamie or even the RBMs. HR runs the table at ITCI. They put the names on the good and bad lists. HR decides who goes on a PIP. They are the ones who call the managers and tell them who is being fired that week. HR writes the script and the lowly managers deliver it. They created this hellish culture deliberately. The enjoy the harm they inflict as it reinforces their position of power.

Adam loves those surprise Zoom meetings. Pathetic little man.

Terrible company run by terrible people.
I just recently had an interview with the hiring manager for the Tacoma , WA territory. It was a virtual interview. She was such a WITCH that I called up the recruiter from Rx Sales Pros and told them I would not work for that women if you paid me triple my current salary. I asked them to remove my application from the process.

You'll never find good qualified people who will work here as long as you have managers like her. If she's that terrible in the virtual interview I can only imagine what a nightmare she is to work for!

This post is 100% the truth!

Leadeeship and HR treated us like shit. Constant threats and pressure. One bad quarter and you are cooked. Then when we leave, HR is sends us email begging us to stay and that we are making a big mistake. Better yet, ASDs and Watson call to ask us to reconsider. When that didn’t work, they threatened with letters from their shady law firm trying to bar us from seeking a better situation.

You should have treated us better. Good luck filling all those open NSS spots. The industry and psych space are small. We all talk you dummies. F-you.

Oh, that’s a relief. I’m glad you added the footnote that the post was the truth. Otherwise, I may have doubted you.

Feel better now that you whined like a little bitch about your interview? If you can’t handle a manager interviewing you, how are you gonna do in front of a psych or PCP when they grill you about the product, the ISI or the managed care coverage.

There are silver linings to people not getting a role. You just soared the company alot of headaches.

You just reinforced what the previous poster said about ITC leadership being complete assholes and the culture total shit. Well done moron.

The paycheck is fine. The chance to make big money on the stock was gone two years ago. This place is up for sale. If you need a job, take it. If you are doing well somewhere else, stay there. This place is not a step up.

You ARE the previous poster. You just proved the hiring manager’s technique was sound. They would have been stuck with you as the team complainer. Kudos to the manager for NOT hiring you. Oh wait, you voluntarily decided to not pursue the role further. Thanks for saving the hiring manager and their Director a lot of busy work.

Been here just under a year. So far, the culture is good, coworkers seem to care and the compensation is decent. If we’re for sale, so what? Just means our equity becomes that much more valuable and if it does sell, i become fully vested. Win win.

I’m not the previous poster. I simply agree with what they said. Been here almost five years. I’ve watched good people get run off and the culture has gone down the toilet. I am fully vested and praying for a buyout. You don’t know any better because you’ve been here under a year. Enjoy your 275 shares when the buyout comes.
