I used to like working here but its a dead wasteland of high pay golden handcuffs. I know reps who have been for 5,10 and 15 years. I can't recall the last person who said they enjoyed working here. The benefits and the pay are great but the little silly games that DM's have to play with the reps are just numbing. Compliance has changed much about forest culture plus all the new former pharma has dramatically changed the culture. It used to be fun now it is stuffy, tight lipped as everyone is trying to keep there job from the compliance police. Our messages are nearly scripted rehashed tags because compliance is so afraid for us to have any really dialogue or character with the physicians. This is probably not just a forest problem but probably a problem that is evident in all industries. Anyway DM's you should realize that in today's market the quality of the salesperson has a very small effect on RX growth. I'm not saying there is no effect but I am saying that it is minuscule in relationship to the market dynamics that exist. Why is it that the company does direct to consumer advertising in large markets but not small markets. Is that fair? Of course not but it is irrelevant because it shows only one disparaging factor when trying to pay commissions and judge people based on rank. There are some markets that just cannot compete. I think in the end selling can be fun when you eat what you kill. You just can't do that in pharma and Forest treats you like it is about eating what you kill.
