Jim Dipofi has been forced out of Mallinckrodt. The Regime AKA ( The Empire) are making the decisions. Its Good versus Evil. There has been a tremor in the force!
Pretty funny how they already had a replacement, when they said this just came to them.
Obviously this was know ahead of time. There pick was already in place before they forced him out.
Big Pharma will be coming to you soon.
Rest assured, all sorts of changes will be occurring in the next couple of quarters now that Jim is out of the way.
 






It is time for everyone to start looking for another job. This is going to continue to become big Pharma. These new leaders are only concerned with spread sheets, call volume, and call reporting. They have no clue how to sell in the hospital or how to sell period!! It will be a totally different place next year. They are scheming as we speak how to screw us!
 






As the saying goes.
If they want 10 calls a day they will get 10.
If they want 15 they will get 15 each and everyday.
Can't wait to see what bullshit the vendors sold to these guys for metrics or electronical monitor crap. Call reach frequency to hyper focus docs always annoys the shit out of people.
We all know it's a joke. Business has and will always be done with relationships, respect and a hand shake.
 












This is the worst company I have ever worked for. Ever. The "management" is a joke. What company can't figure out how to put together contracts to fix their major screw up when they jacked up the price. Then they force out all the people that aren't their yes men. Gross. Makes me embarrassed to be in this profession.
 






Mallinckrodt Senior leadership (RL & JD) have a cutting edge technique that will drive success in the Hospital Organization and this will be implemented very soon. Mallinckrodt pays them huge amounts of money to deliver and they have just uncovered the most breakthrough revolutionary way to raise Ofirmev sales.

Anyone that has a non growing low volume territory will be on the chopping block either before end of December, or it will be rolled out in January. It makes sense to get rid of dead wood before the new fiscal year starts. Also PIPS will be coming out for territories that are not performing first part of 2017. Shit is about to hit the fan. They are going to beat this over priced dead horse until they finally run all the good reps off and get rent a reps to back-fill.
Here is a scenario- 250 bed hospital DOP says They spend 400K a year since Mallinckrodt pulled a fast one
and it's there 2 highest line item expenditure. The first line item expenditure saves lives- MORTALITY BENEFIT.
Should I break out the IVA and show him the PK/PD data, or show him the HEOR stuff that is so full of statistical analysis mubo jumbo and IVA tiles that scream cherry picking!

the issue is they overpaid for Cadence and they made the critical error of assuming Hopsitlas would have to pay whatever the price to get the only form of IV APAP on the market. Mark and Hugh didnt not do their due diligence which would have been easy enough to do.
The division has and will continue to be poked and examined to try to figure out how to get the investment back out of this one product. It will never happen. Contracting! Really. Lots of promises and so far not one victory with the new head of contracts? Always next year. If they do come you might find they actually cost MNK more overall revenue then they generate after total discounts.
Cut the division to 90 reps, cut contracting/quality, raise the price 6% every Jan and be done with it.

We all said that from the beginning. They were DESPERATE to buy anything and I mean anything. Before the hemostats, they were almost going to get zipline a zip surgical closure. Prior to all of this, the original Cadence reps will never forget that fateful national meeting. The first night everything seemed normal other than the CEO wasn't there. That was a Monday I believe. By 4am Tuesday, the calls were coming in From the east coast on everyone's cell phones that Mallinckrodt was buying Cadence. Literally everyone and I mean everyone was like "what is Mallinckrodt?" We all then shuffled ourselves into the general assembly to hear the horrible news. Most were just simply worried about their jobs, especially the California folks. Then Trudeau showed up that afternoon and we all knew it was over. It's a day most people will never forget, but trust me, we all knew it was downhill from there. It was just the beginning of a succession of horrible decisions. That fateful morning when we received the call about the price increase we all knew it was just a greedy tactic to bring up the stock price. For a while it seemed to work but as you all know, the stock has just tanked. The biggest problem now is that the name "Mallinckrodt" is dirt in the eyes of every single hospital. With any new drug launch, they will be hard pressed to find anyone to help them get anything new on formulary because of their reputation. Who had to take the worst of all the crap? It was the original Cadence reps that had to get punched in the stomach every single day for months on end and get the brunt of all the anger and push back caused by a handful of corporate greedy idiots.
 






Another NSM coming up in 2 months. Where are we from last year. No where and now DiPofi is out.
With a little over 3 years left with Ofirmev, there better be something else for the Hospital group in the very near future. Plan A was that the whole picture with the hemostats was to bridge and network in the surgical setting. Get more access bla bla bla. Guess plan B was better.
With the upcoming NSM, here we go with Senior leadership blowing smoke up our asses. You are the best of the best, you have weathered some tough storms in the hospital, and we are set up to mobilize very strategically and efficiently for new products. Thanks for all you do each and everyday.

Quite honestly, Jim D was a huge disappointment anyway. Instead of marking changes and fighting for the reps, he simply became a puppet to protect his own butt. He had an opportunity in his position to push back some and did not. He never went against the grain and the Cadence culture was completely eliminated. He became a yes man. The are a few other Original Cadence folks in leadership roles that still exist today that have done the exact same thing and I promise you they are either following Jim D or very aggressively looking for a new job or both. I believe Jim D has been looking for a new job for a very long time now.
