For those that have interviewed recently....

Would you be kind enough to share with those of us that are going next week what the format was like? Is it a basic interview..meaning do they go through your resume and then ask STAR type questions? For those that interviewed that have been out of college longer than 10 years..did they ask to see your college transcript? Thanks!

You will interview with two DM's at the same time, I think the DM's can decide what format they want to use, so it will really depend on who you end up with. Mine was very casual, not a single STAR question or rediculous "tell me a time." More along the lines of "why do you think you were sucessful in the past." It was not a question/answer session, we pretty much just talked for an hour about me and about Lilly, they said there are looking for a "fit."

Did you "fit"? Make it to background check?

Sounds like managers looking for a hole to stick their pecker in...

Did anyone else think the managers were trying to be assholes? One was nice and the other seemed like they weren't even listening to a word I said and tried to get flustered.

Most of my questions were in STAR format. I did not interview with the supervising manager (which seems ineffective to me). I am 10 years post graduation and they did not ask for my transcript. I have not heard anything, which I am assuming at this point means I am out of the running. It was not bad, just feels like wasted time and energy.

give us an idea of the STAR questions asked, please.

STAR is how you answer the question, not the format of the question asked. Hopefully you know what STAR means and can effectively answer questions in that format or you are going to have an especially difficult time with your job search. As for what the questions are, your typical "tell me a time when"'crap. Past that do some of the prep work yourself. Nobody gave me the answers ahead of time.

Usually unrelated to the position. Like what is 5 mod 27 ? OR what time it is in Seychelles?
How many Colonel Lilly's children suffered diabetes? What was Lilly's first product?
Then, what constitutes sexual harrassment (a lot of managers are cautioned through employee training programs - I think every other year ). Then, How long you want to work at Lilly? What would you be doing four - five years from now? Who are Sami people? What is the current seasonal temperature in Port Phillips?

You are completely full of it.
