Any word as to when they will be putting a sign in our front yard? Do you think we will be sold as a whole or sold by divisions? I would assume the latter would produce more interest and $$$. I guess it depends on whos interested and what the gov't will and will not allow.

this is accurate biomet is splitting up the business units and selling each unit of individually.

I'm really glad guys with knowledge are posting their wisdom here on cafepharma! That last IPO really didn't work out for us! Not really sure when that happened? I'm just glad you know what your talking about! I feel really dumb that I missed that IPO offering. Also I appreciate the heads up on the selling off of our business units! Gonna get that resume together tonite! Thank you for the heads up! The next meeting your in with Mr. Binder make sure to let him know if it wasn't for you we'd all be screwed!

Nobody in the US is interested in buying Biomet. I can see a Chinese company buying Biomet ala Wright

The economic genius of bloggers is incredible. I don't work for Biomet but it doesnt take an expert to see the value and upside in this company....there are plenty of potential buyers or companies to merge or and IPO. Price is always an issue, but the long term value of not only Biomet but the entire orthopaedic industry is excellent and will grow and grow over the years.

I think it will be Tornier that is purchased. Biomet would own the Shoulder market and create enormous value in the process.
