Focus Bucket-More Empty Promises

Lori,

It has been almost 3 weeks since you promised that we would have a "significant adjustment and changes" to the focus bucket. You said it would happen within a week. Where are the changes? Also, word is the changes will be minimal when they do happen(5-15%). This will do nothing to help us. The whole field sales force is livid at the empty false promises of "big money opportunities" in 2011. All it was is a way for corporate to pad their pocket books and screw the sales force. What comes around goes around so don't be surprised when the best flee the company for better, more lucrative opportunities.

The mother ship will dictate what we earn , we cant control any thing. Ie Cleveland clinic cluster f%^&

Just curious, but how much do you think you're losing in annual income? What did you anticipate making vs. where you'll finish?

What are you guys smoking? 95% of the sales force is losing out on at least 50% of their commissions due to this focus debacle. It is a bunch of crap! Skip stood on the stage touting the plan and how this is "the year". All that has happened is all of us have been severely penalized. I dont blame anyone for looking or leaving.

My question wasn't an attempt to be cynical. I'm just wondering how much everyone is going to be out financially. If the average variable commission is $55K, you're saying you'll be out $20-$25K? That's a huge concern and I get your frustration. It's too bad Covidien isn't working harder to keep it's trained reps. Training ain't cheap and watching everyone leave is even more money out the door.
