First Time Going Through A Layoff...

This is my first time going through a reorg/layoff. For the reps that will unfortunately be misplaced, how exactly does this work after the initial announcement? Is the their last day of work/payment on the day of the announcement or are the reps given a date like effective August 31st and they will receive pay through that date as a WARN period?

Every layoff is different depending on culture, applicable laws, contracts, and business objectives. So far, they have been giving at least 60 days notice to those in corporate, but the execution has been a total cluster *%#! In hindsight, Project "$186 Million Bonus" is amateur hour compared to rejuvenate. Maybe it will be different with the sales force. Good luck.
