So what are we gonna do about the people that got fired when their territory didn’t even have accessible customers? And they were pretty much screwed either way. Part of that is on the company for not considering access. If reps can’t use samples, they probably aren’t seeing customers. but they got told hit DT or else. They picked else which I guess in hindsight was the wrong decision.
 





















It was falsifying calls
Exactly..No one is getting fired for not hitting reach & frequency; especially considering the overwhelming majority of the sales force is not hitting those metrics. You can -and will; however, get fired if caught falsifying calls.
The company if purposely putting immense pressure on us right now to hit these metrics because they know many will succumb to the pressure, and feel forced to submit “fake calls”, so you better believe your Veeva calls are being heavily scrutinized.

yeah, at least if you are not meeting metrics, it will take them a while to measure that, then put you on PIP, then that's a few more months to whatever outcome. plus I was told it costs them over 100k to get a new hire all settled in, so it really would need to make sense to fire someone for not perfect performance. and if you are growing your market share, it's hard to argue that you are not effective. not to say that this entire experience wouldn't be absolutely miserable
