Financial Workshop

I think a financial workshop should probably include all the above. Most go hand in hand. Even if it was someone older who wanted to focus on 401K/retirement planning, they may be interested in learning about college planning for their grandchildren. Just my opinion. I'm a financial guy though. Love it. So, it all interests me.

What financial topic would you attend a workshop to learn about? 401k? Taxes? Retirement? Kids College Savings? etc?

I would be careful about attending "financial workshops" as they are often run by financial advisers.

The best thing you could ever do to improve your knowledge of how to invest wisely is by reading "Random Walk Down Wall Street." No top tier MBA program doesn't have this book on its reading list. You'll be amazed. Also, you don't have to be in the industry to understand it.

You'll thank me.
