Finance $ Why So Inefficient Construct

Mr. Frazier and HR could look into why so few people reporting to Mgrs in Finance. 2 People reporting to one Manager. 3 People Reporting to one Executive Director. Why? If Finance increased control span to 9 reports to a boss and eliminated middlle mgrs. savings gotta be tens of millions a year.

The next time division chiefs told by your Finance counterparts to do something, ask them why they are so loaded with extra managment positions and billing it to company.

Well said. They are good dictating onto others what to do yet nobody touches them.

Should they be creating extra management jobs at high cost or just add workers at half the cost and assign to current management

Ditto -they let go those who are managing a high number of direct reports and keep a high $$$ "Manager" who only manages himself. It's crazy! And what about the poorly designed COMET. What a joke and FU!

i would guess its because everyone is busy managing all of the spend in excel worksheets as they can't seem to just push a button and have COMET/SAP do what it was supposed to do.
