Field Visits

I support Insmeds stance that TS customer interactions should be in person if possible. It’s more effective and I would rather visit my customers live.

My ask is that Insmed consider limiting most field visits and that only RSD be permitted. During COVID-19, we have to get permission to bring in guests at a time when we are struggling to be allowed in offices at all. It both puts us in an awful position to have to ask to bring in an out of state guest, and spending that time is distracting from our messaging. In a lot of cases, it makes us look like we lack compassion. Lastly, office guests typically add no value to a call so it makes no sense to send a visitor during a time when the outcome will clearly trend negative.

RSDs, feel free to visit, but bring your vaccine card, my offices want to see it. I do too by the way, but I can’t ask so I won’t be letting you in my car. Also, consider just doing a business meeting and even role play if you like, just don’t make it harder for us to see our customers than it is already.

Truth. Please keep doing the right thing and don’t force extra people in offices. Great way to lead.

It is ironic that Will has such specific guidelines to protect the home office, but there isn't anything for the field. We need to test each week or provide proof of our vaccination, but we are not given that same courtesy. We have to accept anyone that wants to come out in the field with us without any notice as to vaccination or Covid status or it gets turned on us as being a disruptive or unsupportive. It's easy to say you want to protect the team, but when that protection stops at the doors of your own corporate office, it's bullshit.

Well, coming in Dec field based or home office personnel that interact with others will be let go if not vaccinated. So if you are vaccinated you can get Covid and spread Covid, same as someone that is not vaccinated...the solution here is to to shit can good employees, but offer testing to see if you actively have Covid prior to an in person interaction, take the guessing out of the picture. Seems like such a simple solution, rather than appearing as political or non-sense driven.

Good employees? Noticing a trend of those who complain about vaccine seem to have poor track records anyway or are the ones you typically hear bitch and moan about everything. I'm sure some good folks will be "shit-canned", but the ones I know about? Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

I’m just relieved that the infrastructure and Build Back Better Spending sprees promised by Moron joe and the D’s will be passed today, as promised. They control all 3 branches of gov, so nobody to blame this time.
