I support Insmeds stance that TS customer interactions should be in person if possible. It’s more effective and I would rather visit my customers live.
My ask is that Insmed consider limiting most field visits and that only RSD be permitted. During COVID-19, we have to get permission to bring in guests at a time when we are struggling to be allowed in offices at all. It both puts us in an awful position to have to ask to bring in an out of state guest, and spending that time is distracting from our messaging. In a lot of cases, it makes us look like we lack compassion. Lastly, office guests typically add no value to a call so it makes no sense to send a visitor during a time when the outcome will clearly trend negative.
RSDs, feel free to visit, but bring your vaccine card, my offices want to see it. I do too by the way, but I can’t ask so I won’t be letting you in my car. Also, consider just doing a business meeting and even role play if you like, just don’t make it harder for us to see our customers than it is already.
