I noticed they number of responses and new threads on AZ's CP board are fast dwindling. It appears nobody gives a shit anymore enough to complain OR praise anything about AZ. I think people just want to check their box, go home and relax a few hours, and do it all over again. I have taken other people's suggestion and backed off how much I work every week, and it really helps. I've even given up on my useless counterpart. I guess it's just better to check your box, and fly way under the radar.

No one cares and will do the minimum for a company that repays on kind.
 




Apathy in pharma is all around us not only at AZ but every rep you meet. Pharma is so inbred....the names are different but the issues are exactly the same from company to company. You are right. People are so apathetic....some many have "who gives a shit" attitude you don't even see complaining on here anymore (outside of the muffin queen and the inspector! LOL). My feeling is people know this gig is about over. It's just a matter of time. Therefore we are all working less and less and just don't care. Hey my boss doesn't care anymore.I..she just going through the motions...99% of my calls are lies...I just go through the motions and senior management well you know the story....ain't things rosy at this great company oh and we are right sized and no more layoffs. I'm looking at a men's haircutting franchise...little equipment..always a market and I've found a town near me that sure can use this...what are you guys doing to prepare for the coming apocalypyse in this industry?

There are fewer posts because there are a lot less people. AZ is half the company it was 5 years ago. Hq is a ghost town. None of the managers give a shit any longer because they know there are no career opportunities for them. Everyone is just checking the boxes and collecting a check until the end comes. Tic tic tic tic, who will be next on the chopping block?
 




The last layoff should have been much, much bigger. They lied about cutting 50% of CNS. I hate to say it, but if I was running the show, I would go CSO all the way, or at least 90%. Now AZ has screwed up once again and paid way to damn much for Amylin. Shades of Medimmune! These idiots never learn. The boys at Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse suckered BMS/AZ in very nicely, pocketing millions along the way. AZ would pay a fortune for a bucket of shit.

Deperate times for desperate people and it rarely leads to good decisions. Brennan gone, Zook is history soon and the rest of the puppet show will have their strings cut as soon as their enablers are gone. Can't wait for MT to get his and then maybe the sales force will have a chance of surviving.

I've noticed the drop off too here on CP. I think people are just too busy checking their boxes to worry about posting much anymore. Nobody gives a rats ass. I've got my dumbass DM tomorrow and I dread it like hell. Got to put on a good act. Got the docs primed and ready for the dog and pony show. What a total charade.

As far as diabetes therapies go, if Amylin is a bucket of shit, hard to find the words to describe Onglyza compared to the products we now have to bring to the market--
 




AZ has to overpay for poor value because everyone knows that they have already completely dismantled their internal R&D for all intent and purpose. There is nothing that will ever be coming from the internal R&D pipeline and the current products are rapidly declining so the sellers know that they have them over a barrel. They have to buy new products at the highest possible price despite their quality just to survive. it will take a lot of this junk just to replace even one of their former high quality products.

My bad, I didn't mean you, I meant leadership and those who have made some poor decisions but are not held accountable. Includes all of us to some degree. But mostly people with leadership responsibilities they did not fulfill and a compass that did point true north.
 




Definitely a helluva lot fewer posts on AZ's CP website. I think nobody gives a shit to comment on anything anymore. We can't get in to see our docs. We have no pipeline. We work half days most of the time, and nobody cares. This job has become a total joke by any measure. But wtf! I make DAMN good money to do this stupid shit!
