Fetid response from AbbVie - Israel

Is anyone else disgusted by the fetid response from our fearless leader about the Middle East? I know they have to toe a line, but with certain Organizations coming out in support of Hamas - ESPECIALLY in Chiraq - I should hope for more.

At least lets pull our shareholder monies back from BLM after their last escapade?

At least let’s pull our shareholder monies back from BLM after their last escapade?

Which organizations in Chicago (aka Chiraq) are supporting terrorist organizations like Hamas?

Also, AbbVie gives money to BLM? Since when?

Abbvie pledged $62 million to BLM in June, 2021. It’s easy to verify online.

You are wrong. Stop spreading lies.

AbbVie is committed to advancing equality, equity, diversity and inclusion within our business and in our communities. Following the events in summer 2020, AbbVie made a $5 million donation to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund and the Equal Justice Initiative to address issues in our criminal justice system. We have sought to meet the moment by funding longer-term philanthropic investments with sustainable, meaningful impact to advance racial justice, education and health equity through a $50 million, five-year commitment. As part of this program, we extended our employee matching program to $3 for every $1 for donations to civil rights nonprofits fostering racial equity." Pledged additional $7M to the National Urban League. Contributed $360 to the Black Lives Matter Foundation.

There is a lot wrong with AbbVie but at the Executive level with respect to their positions on equality and diversity, they should be commended. What Rick said and did post the George Floyd murder was outstanding. He was a true leader at his best and setting a great example.

The recent statement recognizing the tragedy of the violence experienced by both Israelis and Gazans was AbbVie living up to the best a pharma company can aspire to by caring for the well being of all humans-regardless of race or religion. This is one of the few moments we can be proud of AbbVie,

Can you post this recent statement AbbVie made on the violence experienced by both Israel and Gazans?

Wow, breaking news! A Fortune 500 company gives a neutral response to a current event as to not offend their incredibly diverse employee base. How will you possibly go on without your millionaire CEO parroting your beliefs on the homepage?

I'm honestly exhausted from the EEDI propaganda being shoved down our throats on a daily basis. I get more emails about trans holidays than i do about work. Please Abbvie, just let us do our jobs. And, I don't know how it's legal management puts in writing diversity candidates will be interviewed and hired before an opportunity is open to other (white) candidates.

Don’t act like you don’t enjoy poc things being shoved down your throat

What were the last Trans Holidays you received emails about? And post here what “management puts in writing diversity candidates will be interviewed and hired before an opportunity is open to others (whites)”. Federal organizations and reporters want to see this.

That's the only emails I get now.

They won’t. BECAUSE IT DOESNT HAPPEN.

Glad you were able to take time from your Klan rally to let us know your thoughts on transgender people.

I did not get that impression from the email, but I know some of my Jewish colleagues felt the same.

I haven’t seen unusual requirements for EEDI when hiring either…
