Entresto is a great and fun drug to promote, but as a contract rep, you are treated like scum of the earth from the Novartians. You will get NO respect whatsoever, nor recognition from your day to day Novartis manager.
We just got back from a national meeting in Dallas. As contract reps, Novartis couldn't have us staying at the same hotel as them (and the hotel where the meeting took place). We had to be bussed into the meeting 30 min each way. Also, at the meeting, there was not 1 mention from Novartis upper management of PDI's contribution. Not even 1. Pathetic.
You will be calling only on primary care, your teammate (who you're expected to work hand in hand with on a daily basis) is called a CV-2 rep. They have 70% primary care, 30% cardioogists and they will get ALL the credit for any work you do. They are paid at least $30,000 more than you.
Those are the facts. You decide.
Thanks. I am considering.

All this is so true regarding th contract between Novartis and PDI. Now I have seen that Novartis is going after PDI reps and getting them fired for compliance issues! This is a big investigation going on nationwide. Why doesn't Novartis just end the darn contract if they are that unhappy with PDI?
Yes. They have been going after reps! I believe they think it's ok to push people out who are not with the program. It's all about the cult. They think they are a superior race and those that can't cut it must leave.
Sounds like a blast this contract !
Quit trolling the 1 thing we PDI reps have, you Novartian troll. The posts above are not true everywhere, yet much of the PCP business that the PDI reps are getting credit for and paid on includes: 1. Cardiology NP's/PA's that are being tracked only as NP/PA or "others"; Hospitalists that are called on by CV2/CV1; and PCP refill scripts originally written by Cardiology. We want PDI to succeed, it will take time, just hang on and stay focused on your part of the deal...the huge increase in volume is right around the corner...Positive Tension works!!!
