I just got offer for the FDE position, start date 2/28 for home study....training class starts on 3/14....I am in Calif...anyone know where the training will be???

Thanks!

Interviewing this week. heard home study 2 wks, and 1 wk away....at regional location. the regional location u go to will be included in home study box, as I heard that it doesn't matter where you live, you could end up in AZ, or FL...& they don't want more than 15 ppl per training class. Any advice on interview...questions? what specific info they were looking for? are they looking for the "type A" personality or the clinical sales person? Any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks

Thanks! Interview = all "tell me about a time when ...." examples of sales situations...all pharma sales, relevant to the job. Type A. I have launced 2 drugs and they weren't that interested in my launch exp., all they wanted to hear was about diabetes knowledge & exp. Know your diabetes...disease state, prevalence, outlook, pt type & such. Pump diabetes !!! Good luck!

Thanks for info. Will concentrate more on disease state rather than launch experience. I heard from recruiter that BI managers that are interviewing do not have diabetes experience?? Was that true in your experience? Thanks again...

The managers I interviewed with = no diabetes exp. nor did they seem real interested in the interview process. They were not DM's that'll be selling Liganliptin so they were just going through the motions. That said, you still need to sell them on your skills, although the important one is the RD....the RD I met with was tough...I had 15 minutes to give a synopsis of my exp. and tell him why I wanted the job and why I was the best person for it...and ask him for the job...be very pushy with the RD. Good Luck!
