Farewell to the AbbVie and Qiagen Contracts

Such a terrible time of year for so many contracts to end. Good Luck to all who have been catapulted into a job search at the worst time of year.

Yes, Abbvie really screwed the IQVIA people over good.

What happened? Both of those were long standing.

Yes, they were very long-standing contracts. AbbVie slashed due to Humira going generic.. Qiagen rolled a few into direct hire but they don't want a contract sales force anymore... Iqvia's contract side is hemorrhaging very badly

Did AbbVie slash the Humira/IQVIA sales force or the nurse/call center as well?

It doesn't really matter to IQVIA, the CSO is a loss leader that makes almost no money for them. Almost all of IQVIA's profit comes from clinical trials and IMS data subs. They have actively been trying to sell the CSO for years, its a garbage business to be in that no one wants to pay anything for. They will either get new contracts, or they won't, it doesn't matter to the guys at the top.
