I was wondering what happens to companies that BSX decides to acquire. Anyone affected in the past, and what was the action of BSX if you were one of the chosne to remain with the integration?

Haha! I was with Guidant when BSX bought them. I think you are going to get alot of feedback from folks from both of those camps. I left....just bear in mind that the size and scope of the Guidant acquisition made it a special case...so when folks get on here and rant about it..keep in mind that they probably wont answer the question you have asked.
 






Well, management sure has gotten a lot bigger and more disconnected from what was once a great CRM division in Guidant. It's unfortunate that this is the way it is. a lot of key people have either been caught up in RIFs or have left out of aggravation with management also.

Legacy Guidant CRM surely isn't what it used to be, especially in MFG. R&D has been hit really hard as has clinicals and test engineering.

I doubt anything stated here isn't in the public realm...
