I think people are starting to figure out the RTO is a lot of hot air and empty threats, much like everything else that goes on here.

They do have the data to figure out when you did and did not come in with badge swiping. But at least in my division, there’s no centralized way to track when people were at conferences, had inclement weather, were sick, took PTO etc etc.

They say it’ll go into performance reviews but none of the lower level mgrs actually want to enforce this shit. It’s impossible to measure in a fair way to actually put it in someone’s review. They also said they aren’t sharing badge swipe data of employees with mgmt so then how is it going to be used in a review? Makes no sense.

By them making threats they have shown who they really are and what they think about the regular employees. You are a cog to be used, abused & disposed of at their leisure.
 
















I have had enough, place has worn me down as I know it has many others...just not a great place to work anymore, especially when they pay average wages in the industry...

I’m in the technical space here. Between the laughably bad office environment, the constant influx of diversity hires who don’t know shit, and dinosaur technology… have to agree with you, just can’t really justify continuing to put up with this company’s retarded management.

It used to be that you could think to yourself hrm okay this company does pay not quite as much. But they also are an absolute joke, don’t seem to expect much actual work, and are easy to fool.

Now they expect way too much for what they’re offering in terms of pay and work environment. I don’t know many people in my dept that aren’t already looking for other jobs. Once that happens, all they’ll have left are these diversity clowns.
