Does Vision Care fit under Eye Health? What Eye Health functions are moving to New Jersey?

Richard D’Souza-R&D, Eye Care will he be based in Rochester or New Jersey.

Hemanth Varghese-Vision Care is in charge of just currently marketed products or in charge of Vision Care R&D too? Will be based in Rochester of New Jersey?

What ever happened to D&R?

We will find out in a few weeks. Expect a lot of people moving to New Jersey.
 












How can you expect a lot to move to NJ? Pearson in his email said that corporate staff will be less than 100 people post acquisition. That is not a lot of people. No one is moving anywhere, they will all get axed.
 












How dumb are you ? You think they are going to move a dept including labs to NJ ? How does that save money ? Corporate staff go to NJ. Everybody else gets canned or works as normal in a smaller department.q

Maybe the departments that do not have labs get moved. Regulatory, project managers, outsourcing departments etc.

So much of R&D is outsourced and the departments could move to New Jersey and the Outsourcing could occur from there.

You can call them Cubicle researchers. I know researchers that have never left their cubicles for 5 years. They certainly could continue there jobs in New Jersey.

Also, New Jersey is the World Center for Pharma Companies. Basically all of New Jersey is one big Pharma lab. If B+L is looking for lab space in New Jersey there is likely many options to choose from. Maybe even tax breaks from the State of New Jersey to set up the labs their.

You all are really clueless...Labs HELLO THERE WILL BE NO LABS. Valeant doesn't to research and doesn't have LABS,,they cut fat, make remaining poor souls work four jobs for half the dough and slash and burn. Labs, that's funny. How many new products has Valeant EVER introduced? NONE---wake up !!!!! 100 no more move to New Jersey and rest are vaporized by big Mike. We are Valeant, resistance is futile!!

If there are no Labs then all of the Principle Cubicle Research Scientist are Safe.
