Eye care retention bonus or whatever they’re calling it

So what’s up with this eye care additional bonus incentive or retention bonus or whatever they’re calling it? Is it meant to be achievable enough that we all stay on for B&L or is it like the top 5% will actually get paid decent money. On the call with our R&D she said it’s going to be huge money like shockingly huge but then in the same breath said that someone who is at 120% to goal could make an additional $60k on top of the their regular IC payout. That’s great except how many people will hit 120% with August numbers??

We were only told there would be one. Nothing concrete. Don’t believe them and don’t spend something you will never see
 








Frankly they haven’t put one thing they’ve said in writing yet so I don’t believe any of it will actually happen. They have repeatedly said how my B&L wants us but they also (almost exactly 1 year ago) told us in Austin and then in Chicago and again in several calls that Novartis was committed to eye care, that we kept the lights on and that we mattered. They said that because it’s what we wanted to hear and what they needed us to believe.

Here we are again. They are telling us what we want to hear (you will all have jobs. B&L wants this sales force) as well as what they need us to believe (so that we don’t all quit it stop working before the deal closes). Every company, not jus Novartis, but especially Novartis, is out for themselves. The senior leadership have no spines and no ethics for how to treat employees. I stand by my initial comment on here that we are all disposable. Don’t believe anything they say.

I quite frankly, don’t know where to start! What Novartis leadership did today was completely senseless and a despicable act of integrity. They basically threw money at the already windfall reps from New York. We’re not talking, just a few dollars we’re talking considerable dollars. These reps are no better than anybody else except for the fact that they got a giant windfall. How is it that the entire team leads basically in the stack rankings on Prism? If they think they’re any better than any other rap that’s out there they are sorely mistaken. I have sat next to many of these wraps in national meetings, and for the most part, there’s no better or worse than anybody else. Let’s just tell it like it is, they were freaking lucky with the windfall that they received and now the company decides to stop the flames with rest of the country and give them a whole Nother pot of money for what nothing. I am disgusted with this company and their actions and treatments of others that are not in the Northeast. I’ll write more later, but this is just insane how somebody could come up with a plan like this after the fact.

The way this thing is structured. I have to seriously act if there isn’t some inside hanky-panky going on and somebody getting a huge kickback for coming up with a plan like this because it is that f-ing ridiculous.

just to be clear to dispel the rumors I in fact I’m getting paid money… $15,000 for last trimester according to PRISIM today. What disgusts me is that many people that I work with or getting little or nothing. They are just as deserving as somebody that received a windfall in the Northeast and I was just as talented and hard-working.
 




Haha..I have to admit I’m up in the NE and man is NVS and B+L’s basically double bonus couldn’t have come at a better time. I admit I don’t have to do crap and I’m headed to P-club numbers and making bonus while I put some calls in, click thru Veeva. It’s been a great summer. I’ll stay on and do nothing. Thanks to our managed care dude
