What exactly to do with over 800 PSS, DSMs and RSDs hired since January 1, 2011. I don't know the exact number but my friend in HQ said there are at least 6 RSDs, 25 DSMs and 100s of reps. He said they have trained over 400 new ones - not CSAs, reps. Do they get to stay automatically? What about those of us who have endured 4-6-8 12 years of the newly merged company trying to find its way and we kept slogging away and getting it done while the geniuses in R&D could not find a drug with a K9 sniffer. I hope we get more credit than the folks who don't yet have a 2 year anniversary - but my guess is that they will get exempt

Congratulations! That may be the most random, random, nonsensical post ever on CP! You are a perfect example of why the giant expansions 10 years ago when anyone was hired ruined the industry. Fucking dimwitted windbag.

During the Clinton health scare many companies knee jerked and began to trim back. Zeneca was one of them. Zeneca cut folks with two years and under experience. Reps over 5 years were pretty safe. Some of those cut were good reps, but experience meant something in those days. Will they rank a two year rep today and compare them with veterans? I don't know. They are cheaper though.

Depends! Are the new hires friends with their DSM's? Everyone in our area hired over the last few years can be tied to a strong relationship with a DSM! These folks were probably force ranked higher then they deserve so guess we'll find out hopefully sooner than later!

Mike T made it a point to tell his DSMs that experienced reps make only a teeny weeny incremental difference in sales. Ask any DSM who has listened to him and they will verify. If you are one of those 4-6-8 12 year reps, you will be without a job come April 1 as your VP thinks you are as easily replaced as a furnace filter.

Good, we need to get rid of a lot of these lazy old fucks that haven't done shit in years.
