What type of experience does cook look for, more pharma or B2B? I do both, I have a b2b job and I also am a 1099 pharma rep on the side and didnt know which experience to put on my resume. Please advise, I really want to get into device and I know this would be a great starting point.

Thanks

I would go with the b2b but come up with some explanation as to how it applies well to working for Cook. If Cook knows that you are doing 2 jobs, you won't even be considered. Anyone who seems like a go-getter will be screened out because Cook pays so poorly. They also want people who are totally dedicated to their Cook job. They value loyalty above all else. If you are working mainly on commission, you are also probably toast as far as consideration. Cook pays no commission, only a tiny bonus.

Cook does not use recruiters. Recruiters tend to want to work with companies that give them a chance for a "slam dunk" which is to find a candidate from a competitor or another very similar situation to make fast money. Cook doesn't pay very well and can't really attract this top-notch talent.

If you are highly experienced and/or a serious go-getter, don't bother with Cook. On the other hand, Cook is a nice place to get into medical sales when you have no experience before moving on to better things. The pressure is also much less than other medical device firms. You may decide that quality of life is more important than money. If so, you may choose to stick around.

Thanks.... I know that they dont pay well but I have very good b2b experience and want to jump into device and this would be a great way to do it.

Is there any way of getting in touch with someone from cook to try and get a face to face? Who is in charge of their resume reviews?
