Outside Sales Overtime Exemptions
Your job is classified as an Outside Sales position if your main duties are making sales or taking orders outside of their employer's main workplace. You may be paid either by a salary or commission-based structure, but you must not spend more then 20% of your time doing work other then sales to fall under this classification.
If your job falls under the category described above, then you are not covered by federal unemployment regulations and your employer is not required to pay you an overtime premium.

Hmmm...makes you think....We dont take orders, or make a sale where money is being exchanged for a product or service we offer, no contracts, we promote products. But we are required to do so many med ed programs a month, and work overtime without overtime pay.

Yea no shit, quit crying like a jack ass. We get paid very well to have the flexibility we have and to not have to check into a workplace at 8 and out by 5. So you have to do some med eds every now and then. Gosh; you have to go out to dinner, drink some wine and schmooze with the doctors. All on the company dime. Get over yourself!
