  2. 2 : an instance of usually unaware or uninformed self-satisfaction

Typical scenario of management complacency that happens every day here:

Here at Opko we have problems and a lot of them, good thing is we know what the solutions are to fix the problems, bad thing though the problems persist because management doesn't implement the solutions that they know will fix the problems therefore the problems continue and good people resign.

Management is aware of the issues and does NOTHING about it. The Q2 is another example of incompetency at the highest level.

How do only 5 people get paid when YOU DESIGN THE "GRADING CURVE"? The company hasn't explained the math so an RSS can figure out whether or not it is accurate. Was PAP included? Dunno.

It is an improvement over Q1, where NO ONE made 100% (the #1 rep had 58 prescriptions AND just quit).

Q1 was based on MBOs. If you didn't get 100% it was because you didn't complete your MBOs. I do agree the grading curve was a ploy to get people to stay a little while longer until they find a buyer for Rayaldee.

Management created the launch plan that failed, now it's time to step up and get your just reward. YOUR FIRED!

Spot on! Sales force rolled out the management launch plan and didn't listen to the sales force or act on the solutions provided to address the real issues contained within managements plan that prevented sales. They blame poor performance of the lack of the ability to sell off their plan, WAKE UP CALL! Management's persistence to sell their plan yielded the same result, failure then they doubled down on the plan and still see the same result, consistent failure but congratulate each other on a job well done, pathetic!

Agree with poster, it's time for management to step up and face the Frost firing squad.
