Executive ABM turnover

The plan let the new lower priced reps piggyback on the relationships of the older reps. Then watch the higher paid reps get managed out. I know for a fact this is the plan. if you make a big base salary you are on the hit list. Think i am wrong watch.

Post is correct, on the inside and I can confirm this is the plan. It is not only for reps but taking place in other internal areas as well.

Agreed internal here as well. This is definitely happening internally and from what I understand this "vision" will be looked at for every part of the organization. The good part for the sales force is from what I hear they will be looked at last to make these types of changes but it sounds like that is already happening.

I never understood why everyone wants to fight to the death for the highest salary possible. Pay me in the middle to upper level and I am happy. The higher the salary the less job security. This is business 101 especially over the last few years in this industry. If you are making at the top of your salary grade you have a good reason to be nervous.

someone once told me they want to be able to see over the fence, that's it. jumping over get's you in trouble.

All of you are nuts. This (currently) as it stands today is completely untrue. These posts are by people "not" in home office nor anyone with a clue. There is no conspiracy theory and the stuff written on this board is nonsense. Let's start this rumor, because it's just as true as all the other crap I read here:

New ABM target bonus is $1,000,000

Believe it! It's written on cafe pharma. It has to be true!

The fact you are trying to dismiss postings gives it merit. I do know that many internal (Weston & Cambridge) do worry that due to so many posts being true.

Fact is JCV is not helping. Fact is we are lowering our standards for ABMs. Fact is salaries are much lower now. Fact is they are weeding out high salaries. Fact is a monkey can log calls.

Those are the fact's. I'm internal bldg 15 (HR).

By responding in this way you are validating that there is some truth to some of the posts.

Facts are that we are bringing in lower paying and less experienced reps to replace higher paying ones.

As we all have come to learn a monkey can be trained to do this job.

Weston bldg 15, 3rd flr...those of you who know, know what this is coming from reliable source.

We are bringing in lower paid reps. We are laying off sr reps. We will hire more lower paid reps and raise market cap.

Folks, this is a fact not a tail. Coming from Weston bldg 15 flr 3.

In the end about EPS.

The question is, is the company targeting older more senior reps who generally have achieved EABM, while not demoting ANY abm 3's? If that is the case, then it would appear that this could be an age discrimination situation. Otherwise, wouldn't the company be finding a number of abm 3's that were not meeting expectations too? Might want to pose that question to your lawyer, then pass that along to HR.

point taken. can you kindly submit a list of ABM 3's to HR. (if it is not too much trouble can you rank them by age and income as this saves us time organizing their termination packet). keep up the good work and keep those suggestions coming!

Many are getting more pressure to perform due to the high salary. You just don't want a base that is to high or you become a target. Have you seen some of the new people they hired big pharma reps.

I can tell you from first hand knowledge (mgt position) I have had a statement made to me when someones does not like, or, wants that person out, and, want's to build a case against someone and it goes something like this, "build a case on their work, you can find something if you look hard enough OR ask the right questions to lead them in direction for answers you are looking for".

Generally, I have seen this action taken against people that speak up against questionable business practice, or, questionable behavior by their colleagues (which from what I've been involved with is true).

If enough people spoke up company could have some big problems in multiple areas.
