I’ve personally heard of 10+ reps being let go for various different reasons these last few months (some that have been with the company for 7+ years.) Seems like they are trying to save face by not laying people off after thier huge mistake hiring 150+ more reps off of incorrect “reach” data. This company is all smoke and mirrors and no wonder the stock has gone to shit after so many poor leadership decisions over the years

Well if those positions have been reposted than the rep was fired and not let go due to over hiring. People do get fired without some ulterior motive to blame.

Yah I hate to break it to you but the only people getting fired are ones that managers either don’t trust or don’t like.

We know this because not all PIPs and consequences are created equal.

It’s simple as that.

Which one were you?

Shady companies have shady business practices. And Exact is shadiest of the shady from the top down.
Having only one viable product and nothing on the horizon makes leadership very insecure. Insecurity brings about shady practices. This company can’t even use sales results as way to get rid of reps since the majority are under goal. I don’t even think we have a PIP process. When you wear out your welcome you will find out soon.

Not me and that’s bold of you to assume those are the only people getting let go.

I know of multiple cases of reps being put on a PIP after 2 bad quarters, only to complete the PIP then get let go for being under 80% the next quarter with performance being the only justification.

Be careful out there.

There are many reps that have had multiple down quarters in a row without ever even hearing about a PIP. If you’re getting fired, your manager doesn’t like or doesn’t trust that you can do the job. It’s as simple as that.

The same people getting fired are the same people I hear always talking about how easy this job is.

Funny how after all these years the company is demanding that people actually sell the product vs ineffective lunches and dropping off patient brochures to office staff. Or for managers to actually coach. Maybe the free ride is finally over?

Sincerely,

Cute Gute
