So here is a perfect example of how our fearless leader knows nothing about what is going on.

Announcement came in late 2010 that we would be co-promoting Thermachoice with Conceptus. Well we were all skeptical that this marriage wouldn't work...and so far I think we were right. but we know have to dig deeper into the rationale of that decision and the explanation given to us at that time......WHO remembers?.......AHHH , yes..it was to spend more time in the operating room where we would have other opportunities to sell our other products... OH by the way Bridgett, if you would have spent anytime in the field you would have realized that time spent is an amazing business partnership we had with our customers. OK..so we drink the Kool-Aid and go start selling our new earth shattering slings and awesome pelvic floor kit. Then to date, how many e-mails or voice mails have our marketing departments left us in the market....My guess is less than 5.

Fast forward to Friday....wait for it........Ethicon will be buying a device for AUB, DUB, and menstrual pain. And this is being done in the office...

This company is going places with all of the new products we are launching. The new "loop electrode" is a game changer, and the management team is very strong, led by B. Ross, who really understands the business. The game is changing and we need to focus on detailing the Drs., using sales aids, and providing good lunches for the Drs.

Why so negative? The new loop electrode is a game changer, and all the law suits will prevent any sale, who would purchase this unit. Really we are all safe. Do you watch TV or surf the net? Everybody wants to go after all of the people we trained on our mesh products. Were the products safe? I dont know anymore

you have NO clue last poster!!!!!..If we are going to be focusing on urology then why are we changing our name back to Ethicon Gynecare. fact is that management has conceded that we are getting our asses kicked in the urology market and have decided to abandon it!!!! hence the name change...if you doubt it, that's because you are not in the know. we are not touching any products with mesh for a while because of the massive law suits that still continue. have you not noticed the lack of communication from product directors. That's because everything they communicate can be subpoenaed and used against us in court. There is no SUPER D&C kit coming,
 






My customers really like the TOT, and I think it is great that we are coming out with one because we have great mesh, and a good story to tell, so I dont know what the last poster was saying. Also, Drs perform alot of D&C's so this is a big market for an officed based solution. Not there yet, but becoming the place to be, probably in 2012 when the new products are launched.

I remember as an SDM a few years back and she trashed every pd bad...I'll bet they all had to leave, I did. Working with marketersfrom consumer outside jnj now who said she had some trouble there with that same stuff. Need mirrors on the corner to see that character from blindsiding.

She is very bright, but does not understand the business. Look what has she done, how has she helped the company make plan. Oh, they have never made plan since she joined the org. Really not all that bad, but adds little value to med device. Why did she not get cut? Should be looking, because she adds no value.

This is SO true! Bridget is absolutely clueless, after all she did hire Adrian! Bridget has NO clue how to lead except threaten! Gary, you should threaten her! Leslie "Let's just raise price because we have Premier Products". She is really smart, though, just ask her! How many millions has she spent to come to the conclusion the franchise name should go back to Gynecare? Perhaps we could have avoided cutbacks if she wasn't so self centered and "right all the time." And at last Adrian "I need an update daily on our sales projections" and oh' how he so loves to talk about himself. Too bad he wasn't a tenth of the leader he thinks he is! I would advise all three of them to get an updated resume. Then again, it may not be needed. If Gary Pruden had any clue what was happening in this franchise, these three idiots wouldn't be in charge!!

Welcome to JNJ. Two things you can bank on going forward: One, this division will be gone by next year and two, all three of the assholes listed above will all continue in leadership roles after this dump is shut down. That is the JNJ way. Let people destroy a division or guide it into extinction then move them into another operating company that they have no business being a part of then let them destroy that business. Here at JNJ we wouldnt have it any other way.
