Every Sun Employee Must Read This

IF YOU WORK FOR SUN, you’ve got to look yourself in the mirror and ask ‘is this the type of company that has the same values and integrity that I have’.

Repeatedly, Sun puts bad stuff out there. For years, if not decades. The primary strategy for Sun is to save their way to profitability. You can only extract so much in terms of cost before quality (or product, systems or people FAIL).

Many recent product recalls, and in the US, a leader who settled with regulators to avoid formal charges of insider trading.

ALL of this is public information.

You make the choice: are you ‘that bad’ that you can’t find another job, or, are you the same as ‘them’.

Good luck.

This is my 10th year at Sun and I totally disagree with the person that started this thread. We see similar posts all the time from those complaining about suspected product issues resulting in voluntary recalls (done out an abundance of caution) or compliance issues. The top threads are all about some OIG issue when in fact all matters have been settled and addressed.

I look forward to each new day as each day presents an opportunity at Sun. Ignore the noise.

You must be a VP if you think you can just excuse away these violations.
The truth is that Sun and Taro suck.

10 years at Sun ? That puts you in the top 1% because virtually NO ONE has ever stayed that long, I can’t figure out what you do.
Anyway, if you’re with Sun for 10 years then you’re deaf and blind if you’ve not seen what the other 99% see.

The number of what you call ‘voluntary recalls out of an abundance of safety’ is completely out of line. No ETHICAL company has these issues. They’re prevented UPSTREAM by processes and a culture that won’t tolerate sub-standard product getting out the door. Unacceptable.

I presume you took the Ethics class taught by Dilip and Abhay.
What a joke!

I'd like to thank Sun HR and Public Affairs for weighing in with such PATHETIC propaganda.

There are no violations. Stop making stuff up.

I guess those in Mumbai have a different definition of the word NO.

No OIG fine?
No plant shut downs?
No product recalls ?
No to HR complaints about physical violence ?
No settlement by the US leader to avoid insider trading prosecution?

No is no in every language.
Full stop.

Those in the higher castes are allowed to pay their way out of trouble in India.
They think they did nothing wrong after paying the fines.
That is who leads Sun by example.
