How many reps do you need to sell a product that is free?

As many reps as all of our competitors, which are also free. The real question is why the super slow uptake from physicians for this class?? (BECAUSE THEY'RE ALL FREE!!) Most of the scripts are coming from physicians being paid off as speakers, or their colleagues they get paid to give the paid program discussion to, paired with a nice meal. Rah, rah, rah, let's see how many speaker programs we can have!!

And Lilly, and probably Merck since it is a big player in the diabetes market. This is an exceptionally crowded marketplace with plenty of quality drugs, and soon to be more and more. Fewer reps isn't going to accomplish anything, and free Farxiga doesn't provide anything special compared to anything else. If selling "free" is the only thing you're doing, most likely you lose. Before any idiots jump in, I did say only thing.

Yes, Obama is going to bankrupt us. How does free Farxiga advance this? Free cards aren't available for Medicare, Medicaid, or Tricare, just commercially insured and uninsured. What does that have to do with 50M further in debt today or tomorrow or the next? The government doesn't pay for the card savings, AZ does.

Let's see....we're encouraging drs to write a branded drug instead of a cheap generic sulf that burns up beta cells and leaves patients with little option other than insulin. Who pays for that sh*t? A $4 generic that destroys beta cells and natural function that may still remain. Of course. Why not? The friggin drs still get their repeated office calls, many of which are subsidized by Medicare, Medicaid, etc. Just WHO is costing the government money here? And when the patient becomes insulin dependent, it just costs more and more and more, with more trips to the dr.
