How many reps are even more demotivated regarding the "new incentive comp". It makes the reps that weren't working very hard, work even less and the reps who busted their a### less motivated because they aren't going to make any money! Why work hard when we now have district goals? So I can kick a## and my district mates in the next town can have me make nothing? Or vice versa? Sounds fair. And now we are accountable (paid on or not paid on) for products we don't promote. Sounds fair also. Socialism has arrived at GSK. Next it will be regional goals and then national goals. Yes we truly are in it together.

Market shares would not change at all if they hired fresh college grads (hot women of course) and paid them a base of 22K. Believe me, they are dying for jobs. Any job. Give them a Chevy Cobalt, or no car at all! Heck, don't even give am a car and don't pay for gas. They would still be lining up for jobs. The whole industry could go to this while we wait for it all to be done via UPS.
Do you really think GSK would not fill jobs offering 22k? They would have every terr. filled and do the same. The co. bottom line would incr. in leaps and bounds! No cars, no gas and no insurance! No bonus and no raises. They would leave for better jobs, but when will the economy allow that?????????????

I agree but it is hard to argue with what they said. 22k may be a little low but about 35-40K total package plus a car and they could hire some real good looking gals.
