Its positive news, but not a game changer. It helps further confirm MOA. Statins have been shown to reduce LAP by 24%, so this falls just shy of that. Long story short, the story remains the same. Certain lipid lowering drugs like statins and vascepa have an effect on plaque regression and CV outcomes. Added on to a statin, there is a known benefit. You'll see the stock price barely move because of this information. However, if the appeal is won, bye bye generics.
