I figure I'll elaborate on my reason for sell. And it's not going to be the obvious Angus left, layoff crap.
Even though our earnings were somewhat good for Q3, we missed two key estimates. We fell short on earnings per share as well as revenue. Also, research shows that inventory levels are high, which doesn't necessarily mean bad things. Sometimes it's a good thing to have high inventory levels particularly if the company is planning on a rise in demand. In current state, I don't see the need for it.
Sell. SUPN is sitting in a lull right now. Having traded in the low $3.00 in the spring and summer of 2012, the stick jumped with its approval of Trokendi xr. I imagine the stock will sit for awhile maybe gaining a buck or losing a buck until there is news as to when their 2 ADHD products (which are in phase 2 status) get approval and their 1 depression med gets the same (which has had the NDA filed). Once the 2 ADHD products get approved, and they'll likely get approval nearly together, the stock will jump. If you're looking for a quick buck, sell then immediately. Otherwise, hold on for a few. And remember this post when you do.
