Epitome of Hypocrisy Perfected - Kenneth C. Frazier

We have professional politicians, wealthy aristocrats, social media tycoons and now, a flurry of American Corporate Executives all carrying the social banner to a perfect union, no lies and no bias and no hypocrisy.

I say, they are all with their agendas for sustaining or increasing power, control and if possible, transgenerational wealth.

And what is simply "a minority" by geographic definition, does claim any special moral, ethical and just ground.

In fact, at the behavior and contrast it others that came before? For example, What difference do you really see when it comes to the MASSIVE ISSUE of SOCIAL INJUSTICE in TOTAL EXECUTIVE COMPENSATION?

Now if your ignorant to this deeply researched topic, you say, "who cares?" Or "He should make just as much or even more than his white as snow predecessors!". You are wrong. If he had an ounce of integrity, he would in fact, agree that CEO compensation in these United States of America has become immorally, and dangerously unhinged to the 'average American'.
(We're not talking about you overpaid pharma sales "professionals".) The % increase, the data that points to it creating an ENTIRE CULTURE of CHEATING in AMERICA, the CEO Ratio of Pay / Average Worker, etc. etc. It is clear. There is simply a massive perfectly perfected HYPOCRISY with our CEOs, including one born an African American that tell you, "DO AS I SAY; NOT AS I DO."

Here's a quick obvious one, TO EVERYONE OF EVERY COLOR, RACE AND CREED. We do not have HEROs like Dr. Martin Luther King that get the platform these hypocrites do.

If we did, I am CERTAIN, Dr. Martin Luther King would be talking and acting as much on behalf of HISPANIC and LATINOS, ASIAN and NATIVE AMERICANS as his own beloved race of brothers and sisters that I love in ACTION as well. If you know the demographics and trajectories over time, HISPANICS and LATINOS as well as ASIANS need to be front runners for the types of "changes" in hiring and promotional "bias". What about what will serve these wonderful, fantastic, hard working, intelligent people of a different race or color? What specifically.....about them?

All lives matter should never of become a culturally denoted racism claim. Because all of us, each ONE of us matters. And NO ONE chose which race they were born into. As Dr. Martin Luther King said in his last sermon on Christmas Day, 1967, before he was tragically murdered,
"In a real sense all life is inter-related. All men are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. I can never be what I ought to be until you are what you ought to be, and you can never be what you ought to be until I am what I ought to be..."

People forget the highlighted lines. Be who you ought to be and I will be who I ought to be. I choose to be honest with who I really am to by brothers and sisters on earth. I need to be better in all things each gifted day on earth. Then, my actions will in fact, be just, inclusive and dare I say, holy.

Stop whitewashing MLK! He just didn’t walk around “turning the other cheek” everytime you people threw rocks at him! He was about Economic Justice! Read the whole speech of ever speech instead of a few snippets to fit your evil agenda.

Nothing beats his attorney-client privilege defense as trustee to PSU during the Sandusky Affair.

Good riddance Ken!

Signed,

People with Morality

So, this absolutely has nothing, positively, forever, nothing about race, color or creed. This has everything to say about people in positions of power and wealth behaving as poorly as people with little power or wealth. They in fact, flex their power and wealth to mitigate or eliminate what others pay the price.

He is simply a hypocrite and anyone with half a brain knows he was excessively paid and retained. If it was not for GSK, not R&D, where the hell would MRK be? And Kenny made sure he was paid MORE than others before him. There is no social, financial or other justice in his bones. None. Only bravado now.

Kenneth Frazier is about survival of the fittest. He won that game in the corporate jungle. Big deal. And many "died" along his ascendance. My heroes are those that are committed to a cause and are willing to lose it all.

You are a genuine moron. I've listened a ton of Dr. MLK. I am very familiar with his complete, unabridged vision and mission as a person born of a different race, who cares about equality. Re-read the diatribe. The main point, that you can not deny is Hispanic and Latinos and to lesser extent, Asians and Native American Indians are moving the demographics more so. That is a fact. So, make sure we hear more about those specific races and not gloss over it with often misconstrued phraseology. Make sure we see all those millions and now, billions plowed into "systemic racism" that fights for soft spoken Latinos and Hispanics, Asians and Native Americans.

And I didn't pick up one single, pebble to throw at "anyone". Your comment could easily "offend" and be labeled, "racist". Are you "stone thrower"?

What I have learned is bias, pre-judgement is every where, in every walk of life. What has to occur is intelligent, respectful discourse. I make no apology to resenting corporate executives, life long politicians, high profile entertainers and aristocrats, who have a platform telling me what is right, just, moral, ethical and high integrity. When I look at them, I see massive contradiction, financial motives, control and influence motivations that are counter to the sound values and principals I have tried to consistently live by. They have made many "animal deals", "back door deals", "negotiated clemency" and business interests that usurp those things.

As long as the time of the White Male is up, great...let those Latinos, Asians, and Natives have it. Only one thing...you hate them too.

Well, obviously a nameless board so who knows if the response is just baiting. But, if honest, the evidence is in. Pre-judging is everywhere, every race, color and creed. You exemplify such.

To think you know someone's heart, mind and soul regarding fellow human beings is absolutely arrogant, sinful (if you have any merciful, compassionate faith) and hateful. Personally, I have been an advocate of diversity in the workplace by action, that is, inclusion focused since the 1990s. But, the truth is, the executives, white as snow, never followed the law and certainly, never led by example. They protected their turf, to this day with their "do as I say, not as I do.". So, get over yourself and judgement. And focus on the real problem. Executive leadership.

What Token Action did you take, Bob or Jim? A Holiday or having a “Conversation” isn’t Tangible Action. Use your privilege to talk to members of MAGA. You know how to translate and speak their language. You have the credibility that POC will never be afforded.

Panic time - this false narrative resulted in nothing tangible. It becomes less talked about everyday as we get back to status quo.

What I find ridiculous, laughable, illogical is some, emphasis on some, POC in life can't get there head around the fact that a ton of people with little melanin pigmentation can in fact be more inclusive in their actions than they behave in any "lower" or "executive" position. None of this should be about "better than", "more just than", "get more than evenism", revenge and clear vengeance. That is all wrong in moving a culture forward.

Nobody's free until we're all free. That includes far more groups than sexual orientation and color/creed/race to include the older of us, mentally challenged or mentally ill, indigent, etc. The ways we ostracize people today is offensive to anyone with compassion and a just minded heart. Discrimination and discarding of others is everywhere. And, financial excess is everywhere, certainly here....so we should be grateful and behave generously imho. And that should start at the very, very top.

Regardless of a person's skin color, we see no change in their sense of fair, just total compensation. In fact, we see a continued trend to extreme, excessive executive compensation in all of our top executives. That is simply not justified. This country is filled with avarice in those in power. They are massive hypocrites. And they will not change on their own.

Whine all you want about Ken Frazier, boys. The MRK stock price has crashed since his retirement announcement. The market senses instability at Mother.

But then, most of the posers on this site probably have no savings or investments.

Here's the mammoth problem in our culture 2021. Your opinion is not supported by pursuing the truth with facts. Depressingly, we are talking on a high science board. Facts have no feelings, no fear and do not hate.

So, you are spreading a mistruth (a lie if I was mean spirited):

Here's the STOCK PERFORMANCE FACTS of Kenneth "C" Frazier's reign as our attorney extraordinaire for 10 years at MRK.

Stock Price Total Return
Company 1/2011 12/2020

MRK "Frazier's baby" 35 80 228%
PFE 14 40 290%
BMY 27 60 222%
AZN 23.50 54 229%

So, turns out this small sampling of major PhRMA stocks followed remarkably similar paths over the last 10 years. The pharmaceutical segment of large caps trended remarkably similar. No surprise to me. This importantly, INCLUDES the recent months after the CEO of irreplaceable skill-not, Kenneth "C" left the building.

I would say, based on your baseless comments and aspersions you simply like Kenneth Frazier. I don't know him and I highly doubt you know him either. But I did meet and watch Roy Vagelos lead MRK as I have been around a good long while and am grateful. It is clear, your knowledge of market price fluctuations in the macro, segment, and individual entity is lacking any fiduciary expertise. So, my $2 investment will stay covered with both hands.

Here is the truth of Kenneth "C" Frazier career at MRK. He lasted a long time. Why? What preceeded him in terms of events and executive personnel? He is nothing close to a miracle of Omaha in assessing and growing exceptional opportunity. He is no paradigm buster. He is certainly no founder of revolutions such as a Bezos or Musk. But he however, steer himself nicely to a long, lucrative tenure. And he did do one thing right, he invested in R&D when he was urged to milk the cows. I commend him even though it is filled with potholes and cliffs. EOD, Kenneth "C" will not be remembered in the faintest whisper of a Roy Vagelos.

Facts matter.

MRK P. Roy Vagelos, M.D. tenure and stock performance

July 1985 MRK was ~$3.00 (actually less, I owned some)
June 1994 MRK was on a strong uptrend, at $14.79.

That's an A+, incredible Dr. Roy Vagelos performance of 493%!

Ken "C" is more likely a "C- (minus)" in his specific, overall contribution to MRK over a decade.

Now, in his monumental excess, he can go on "tour", bang the drum of righteous change and parade about in a self-knighted saint-like manner. Truth is, the focus is small. The focus is long since overdue. The focus is now because he has all he thinks he needs. And that is transgenerational. So, now comes the goodness. But, I say, really change something for the better. Change the industry you milked millions from while overlooking the tens of thousands that could not simply afford your life saving products. You did not shed a tear for those of all race, color and creed. You led the game, year after year to your financial benefit.

But what about this Ken?

What about working to reduce prescription drug costs to all Americans? Would anyone of color, a minority leader in the United States of America ever demonstrate a higher integrity and principle to change the very industry they led for the betterment of all Americans? Wouldn't a person of color who says they understand the suffering of peoples like your, use their power, their political capital, their industry knowledge to not undermine, but bring that beloved industry forth in a credible, ethical and morally just way regarding all aspects of pharmaceutical pricing?

You really want to be lauded and held in highest honor, take that initiative on for the next 5 years of your life. Or, are you simply a part of the pharmaceutical political machine bought out to a green master?

I thought of you Kenneth "C". And just because a bunch of people are "doing it"; doesn't make it 'the right' way to strengthen everything about this country. Corporate America is now emulating our CORRUPT, PROFESSIONAL POLITICIANS to their long term benefit. It is the new "MOAT BUILDING" exercise in Corporate Executives list of PERFORMANCE INCENTIVES. And it plays so well to the masses.

So, did everyone with backbone and commitment, family and values, principles and excellence standards see what Goldman Sachs is pledging?
Follows the trend with a few PhRMA highlights,
Outgoing UHNW Kenny "C" & his self branded, 1/10 claim to sainthood;
JNJ's 50% increase in black people and people of color to be moved into management 'hell or high water' in a few short, forced years and last, but not least,
Giovanni and crew's $300MM/6 year offering from the Socialist Republic of Bristol-Myers Squibb.

Now, GS - $10B/10 years for one specific race and gender?

So everyone of all color, race, creed, culture, gender or non-gender, sex or non-sex, religion to atheist, and anyone we left out in a cold, calculated, inconsiderate act of non-inclusive, myopic self centeredness:
  1. Is it good business regardless of demographic trends? And what are those true trends in the U.S.?
  2. What will become of all of this artificial help, assistance in terms of business excellence?
  3. And, wait, Hispanics, Latinos and Asians are all growing to 27% and 9% respectively by 2050. Blacks stay set at 13%. Whites drop to 47%.
    1. So the U.S. needs initiatives for HISPANICS; LATINOS; ASIANS more so than BLACKS per se. If we are going to artificially prop up minorities then do MORE for these groups, right?
  4. Or is the problem so systemic and stacked against one particular group that they can not get without this kind of artificial, identity social political help?
  5. How about excel in academia less extra assistance? (Certainly leverage what is legal and available.)
  6. Learn solid networking skills and take risks with an inclusive mindset into other cultures, colors and creeds in hiring positions? (K. Frazier, said, jobs should not go to the best networker but the best candidate. Ok, full of shit, Kenny, it's both your honor. Talent and networking. Like you did bud.)
  7. Take on a relentless, "no excuses" commitment to excellence? (If we lower this standard, we are screwed in America.)
  8. Emotional intelligence; not throwing down the race card to get what you want when you want it. As ALL RACES have RACISTS. ALL. Human beings know the intellectual dishonesty of the argument.
  9. How about learning others cultures as they wish theirs to be understood? The golden rule in business. Being genuine about it and respecting each other, both ways. Common sense.
  10. How about playing fair with any power you assume, not retribution or retaliation?
  11. Working extremely hard to get ahead once "inside" the good old corporate American machine?
  12. And, to our professional politicians in our corporate executive "heated seats" high above the ruckus: Are you "leaders" of nothing but your own self interest, leveraging the social-political "screaming match" to further insulate and expand your moat for control, power and of course, wealth?
If you asked one of the over compensated executive twerps what they look for; they'd come up with a brilliant, deeply meaningful "elevator" response. But within it and their particular "branded" bias on "what it takes to get hired, promoted here or in PhRMA?", they'd cover these essential things below,

Excellence in knowledge of things, principles, integrity, emotional intelligence, commitment and sustained drive are basic tenets to what all of corporate America should want. They'd be lying, not that they don't, if they said these things don't differentiate. They'd be lying if they said these didn't give us the "best" chance at excelling as a company. These have nothing to do with phenotype, cultural reference, sexual orientation, spiritual views in the human condition. Anyone can gain, demonstrate and excel at these if they wish too.

Now, we are into an age that will lead to outcomes you never would have suspected. But don't worry, if it gets bad, "they" will do what it takes as they really don't care about "us" as a whole; rather the inanimate entity that feeds their children's, children, children.

Asians are the master race. Obey your Chinese masters - Joe Biden is a lackey selling you out so his family can make money.

China represents the ultimate in social justice.
