Entocort

You are an idiot. Remicade for a 200lb person runs about $2500 every 8 weeks at 5mg/kg. Humira is even less. You wonder why people get pissed at pharma. Its when they run up the price of an average drug to compensate for lack of sales.

Who gives a shit. It's still expensive. JL has raised the prices 1000% since it was acquired. Why? Is it expensive to make? Are we trying to cover expenses? No, it was purely a profit move on his part to milk the profits. Who gives a shit where it compares to a biologic-its way over priced and soon when it is generic we'll see how greedy Prometheus was.

I know exactly how much Remicaid costs and it is alot more than that. And the price I am quoting is for a child of about 90 pounds taking it every eight weeks. However, EEC is way, way over priced when you can get a generic prednisone that is just as effective or even more so for way, way less.

Only an idiot would let their insurance pay $1,400 for a steroid! What comes around goes around. That is just bad business. How is your patient assistance program?

Ummm......we don't have one. LOL! We don't have one! The upper management in the company are a real "let them eat cake" type. Fuckem if they can't afford it, they can take prednisone. I mean it is pennies on the dollar to Entocort and more effective because it works throughout the entire GI tract, not just one specific side. You don't have to worry about whether there is inflammation in only one spot like you have to with Entocort, prednisone takes care of it everywhere just as well as right....or left.

Prometheus is pretty old school and non-cutting edge when it comes to billing. They're run by pharma people from the 80's thinking it's still the same way. They're taking the money and running with Entocort but when they they try to contract with insurance companies in the future the way they handled Entocort will bite them in the ass as it is with Lotronex.
