Endoscopic sales rep

If you are not currently in Medical Sales I would say go for it. If you are in Medical sales, chances are that you will be looking for another job in two years as they cannot compete against the big boys in this market. Their Management team is clueless, they don't give a shit about their sales team and their products are just adequate.

Is this sales job worth pursuing?

Agreed. If your trying to get in, then go for the job and get some experience. Just know that you will be looking in two years. If you are in the industry, hold off. Conmed isn't a bad company but they don't do anything to get better (R&D). They are totally content being a small company that is a middle/low market player.

We are in turmoil. Sales Reps, Sales managers and marketing managers being fired left and right. Nobody knows what's gonna happen next, everyone is looking for something else, even managers!

The next two years will allow high quality sales reps to make over $200k. New products, New acquisitions, new upper management. Completely different from the old ConMed. Sell what you can where you can rather than specific product buckets.

If given the time, over the next two years the new Conmed management is going to provide us with the cure for cancer and we are going to be only ones who can sell this great new product. They told me so and I believe them!

Is this the year we all make over 200k under the new leadership?
