Endo and Hospital reps are safe

Not the op but laughing about Endo reps. Most left months ago as they were tipped off, there are very few left in the US, maybe 50 people.

Not true at all. There are about 75 endo reps and very few have left. Also, be cautious if you are a seasoned vet with a high base salary. They will look to replace you with a younger version of yourself to save 30-40K.

Everyone knows hospital reps are worthless turds who do not work; but those are the ones saved at Merck. Be well Merck! (Guess those hospital reps will actually have to show up for work as they replace field reps).
I am neither, but I feel for the field reps replaced by their hospital counterparts.)

yes the hospital reps will now have to work. but its basically just a catering business in PC. They won't last long. not because its work. but because its catering.
many are continuing to look for other work. so there will be openings in PC again by the end of the year. be interesting to see if they will fill them

Agree that many of those retained will look elsewhere for jobs . Some because of large unmanageable territories, others because PC will end with Januvia going off patent. A few years at best left in PC at Merck.
