there are some really good educated people at Forest with out a lick of experience----that makes it hard---pure sales driven, starts at Elaine and works down, but that is what you get paid for---

...you mean with an experience licking ...... 99% of the dumb fuck mangers that work at Forest are that way because they got promoted too fast and without any experience. Oh, and by the way, they are the farthest from "sales driven" as you can get. They are "micromanage" driven and suffer from OCF disease - Obsessive Control Freak.
 






I just want to know who would have the sense of humor to give you an inside referral to this company. There is no way this person can even be considered your friend or be doing you any kind of favor. This must a personal enemy of yours and you must be desperate for any kind of work. Tough times call for tough measures I guess.
 






It depends, what are your goals? Is it more important to you to pursue a carreer that MAY give you a nice salary and great benefits or domyou want to feel like you are makingma difference and pursuing your passion. If being a drug rep is pursuingnyour passion, that's messed up. If playing the game and working towards a 6 figure income with benefits without regard to your sincerityy or heart is your passion, WELCOME to pharma!

Man, to the person who wrote this: You are the one with the problem. Yes, the job is repeative and boring most of the times. Yes, we are SALES, which means we are biased toward our products. But come on - you NEVER had an instance where a doc told you YOU actually made a difference. I'm in Hospital now, and I have had two instances in the past 3 months where docs have called me and told me the info I provided them actually helped give them the comfort level required to use a new drug on a person who was otherwise out of choices. I'm not saying I saved their lives, but the doc actually called and thanked ME. So maybe it's you....maybe you suck at this. Maybe you expect praise all the time. Maybe you just repeat the corporate lines and don't take the time to think and actually make the information relevant to the doc (yes, that means straying from the corporate lines now and then, but try it, you may like it)
You sound like a Middle School kid trying to justify why it's OK to take the easy way out...grow up
 






Thank you to the person above. All i hear on here is bashing. You make an amazing salary. Yes you have to work hard for it. You know how many people don't have jobs. Start bring it back to the basics. If you are un happy with the field get out, so people like me who want to be in it, can obtain a job.
 






A starting base salary of 52,000 is not amazing. Forest is entry level in every aspect. An amazing salary is starting at 85,000...that will take a Forest rep at least 10 years. Amazing salary...to who?! Enterprise kids?

I just got the job and I hope to see you in training. People like you and I will bust our butts to earn our salary and commission!!! This is not the economy to cry when you have a job and the luxuries it provides. I have 3 job offers some with even higher base pay the bonus and commission structures are not as good though. People who are hungry will get their exp add to their brag book and move up or on.
