From Friedman & Houlding LLP:

Friedman & Houlding LLP created this forum to provide a place where people could ask questions about employment law and how to handle common issues. It is important that you not include information from which your employer can identify you.

If there is one thing you should take away from this forum it is this: Before you complain to Human Resources speak to a qualified attorney. Human Resources exists to protect your employer, not you. In a "he-said she-said" situation you will not get satisfaction. If you are going to complain to Human Resources you need to go armed with evidence your harasser cannot deny. The more evidence you have the harder it is for your employer to retaliate. Our firm will advise you without charge how to collect the necessary evidence.

We can also advise you whether you have enough evidence to bring a lawsuit. We never charge a fee unless you obtain financial recovery. All consultations are strictly confidential. If you want to discuss bringing a lawsuit please contact us off the forum at 888-369-1119 x 1 or through our website.
