Emergency Blood Pickup?

I was driving down the highway and here comes a nice new (very small) BR courier with EMERGENCY BLOOD PICKUP signs in every window with a red cross on every sign. Are you guys kidding me? I would think this is against the law, since you don't do the type of work that would require emergency p/u.

zip it you complete moron. all labs have the same signs with their couriers. they often have to park in front of a doctor's office in urban areas that require quick stops. go back under the rock you came under.

They also have NO commercial license plates on their cars???

You must be a carrier?

I witnessed this today. Speeds up to 70 in 45 and 50 mph zones.

What's so important to put other's lives endanger, not to mention the driver of said vehicle.

P.S. nice name calling. "Moron" Oh please grow up!

This sounds like a Texas courier. Where did you see the little speed demon?

I would like to say I am one of the drivers of the aforementioned companies (not saying to protect my job). What you fail to realize is that there are specimens tests that must be ran within a certain amount of time after draw. Not to mention when you take your 3 month old to the pediatrician and ask why the baby is crying day and night, do you want to put your child through the torture of having a needle put in them a second time for a blood draw because the test had to be ran within 60 minutes of draw and the driver didn't make to the lab in time because some dumba$$ did the freaking speed limit in the left lane? I think not...I know I would be pissed.
