I’m completely embarrassed to be working for Sun. I plan to rectify that matter rather quickly. Sun should offer employees matching 401k up to 25% vested at 5 years. Nobody would ever make it except the owners family members. Why anyone would come to Sun or stay there is beyond me. That place is rotting the souls of the people.

I’ve seen the situation at Sun truly ‘rot the souls of people’. For whatever reason, some people can’t get out. Many bc they lack any real talent. Others are beholden to the Stockholm syndrome.

FYI SKYRIZI has had over 7000 investigations since launch. Ouch!!! I would rub your nose in it but the people that caused the Ilumya cluster fuck are mostly gone so what is the point.
I think in the end it was about confidence with Abbvie or lack of confidence in Sun that was the issue. I’m doing the same thing with remarkable results in comparison. Offices simply don’t want to be linked to Sun. Get out and get some of that fresh air above that garbage.

Abbvie gives their products away. It doesn’t take any talent to give your shit away. What takes talent is selling a “me to” drug that lacks the data, needs to be HCP admin only, has no support to sales, is covered by no payers and is virtually impossible to get into a providers hands. Go sell that shit and come back and tell me how talented you are. In the mean time get your excuses ready as to why YOUR me too drug, covered by all payers and fully supported will ultimately miss expectations.

Abbvie doesn't give their drugs away. They contract for a reduced price and make it up in volume. Economics 101, and it works. Instead of being arrogant enough to charge $13k per injection, which is why Ilumya sits on the shelf and expires.

So again, Abbvie’s success is due to contracting not sales people. Zero talent required to move any of their drugs. Reps are mostly there to mitigate hate towards their organization for unfair marketing practices.
 






So if all the people that screwed up the Ilumya launch went to the same competitor to launch a competing biologic isn’t that a good thing for Sun? Shouldn’t we want all the screw ups to go there?

Yes, but we want all of the service people to stay at SUN to keep sales low. MHC, HUB, compliance, Abhay. And the no-talent regional managers.
 






They truth is very complicated. Sun brought in over priced, big ego reps with extensive experience. Since they were able to get the ball rolling in terms of introducing Ilumya and stimulating BIs Sun really doesn’t need them anymore. Sun was never going to keep paying them a big base and big bonus. Not when rookies will work for one half. It was an unprofessional strategy that the Directors only recently were made aware of. They left and now encourage others to leave. Sun has zero loyalty to Americans and this has become evident to all. So Sun is really the one pushing these people out, not the other way around. Those left are either looking or stupid. By the looks of who is left I would say it is 50/50. The RSMs and TMs realty don’t have a choice if they want to eat and take care of their family.

The Ilumya launch was designed and approved by roughly 6 people. They’re all still here except Fran and Seema.
Does that make you feel better or worse ?
It says to me that the two guys who had the most and final say on everything are still here. Guess who ?

The answer is we are still fucked. FL, ST and others left because because those fools are killing the opportunity. Make that killed Ilumya. Since most are indians they are getting canned. Just Americans are. If you are Americans get the hell out. At best you will be their lackey. Just wait til the bonus checks come out. 75% of the TMs will be looking like their is no tomorrow. For the RSM openings this is a beauty contest. The in crowd gets the bump even though none of those people have a clue. This place gets more interesting by the day.
