Eli Lilly’s lauded discount of its obesity drug Zepbound comes with caveats

via Eli Lilly garnered widespread praise Tuesday for launching discounted versions of its blockbuster obesity drug Zepbound. Before, the treatment had only been sold in injectable pens for a list price of $1,060 per month, but now, Lilly will also sell starter doses in vials that cost up to $549 a month, “expanding supply and access,” the company said.
