That is a very stupid rumor with no basis in fact. If anything they are switching more and more clients over to Beacon.
 












That is not why they do not want to fix eLabCorp. LabCorp pays per click to eLabCorp and it is viewed as a cost center. The customer is the last thing on this company's mind. It is all about Wall Street, I know that each Sales person is viewed as a Cost Center. The company is now to big and it is like turning around a cruise ship in a small cove. The Beacon is a total flop and it was over sold to Corporate. Too many people will lose their jobs, if they cut their losses at this point. Let's be a lab, not a Software company, which we are not equipped to be. We have become a Walmart vs Target or AT&T vs. Verizon. Customer no service.

I work for Quest and it is the same damn story. Why are the two biggest players in the market unable to have a product that meets the needs of the client. It is always selling the client what we have, not what they need.
 


















Becuase regional labs don't compete by selling their own EMR. Every EMR Company HATES quest and labcorp becuase they directly compete with lamo POS Fake EMR solutions

Why are you spreading these lies. If anything EMR companies love LCa as we have done these interfaces many times and they don't have to reinvent the clock. LCA doesn't sell its own EMR either.
 






I work for a regional lab, and not having our own product, creates more of a headache. Be glad you can offer your own product. It works more often than third party products.
