It sounds like Eisai was asking for a reconsideration of a previously denied summary judgment. That reconsideration was denied, so the case will proceed to full trial where evidence from both sides will be presented and then a ruling will occur. Summary judgments are used when one side wants to avoid a costly, lengthy trial process and feels it deserves a favorable judgment based on material facts. Most summary judgments are denied because judges want to hear all evidence...AND it's a total scam! A full trial allows lawyers to make $$. Judges are all previous lawyers...

Thanks for this excellent explanation.

Oh my! You mean the whole world is now going to know about the cover ups, abuse, hostile work environment, discrimination and retaliation? Sure would be a pity if they lose and this opens the door for more lawsuits against the company.
How's the hhc thingie working out for you?

To anyone who is thinking a lawsuit...Don't do it!
Agree completely. Keep you head in the sand and save your own ass. Until its yours turn and then wonder why all your co-workers are silent. Like you were. Tell the truth, point out a HR problem=fired or managed out. Pretty simple. Business as usual. hhc for everyone.

A lawsuit isn't going to change Eisai. The only thing that will change Eisai is a sincere look inside at what management has done and for Eisai's leadership to address the behaviors and tactics of managers. Didn't someone announce recently there are less than 6 original sales reps for Eisai? What does that tell you Eisai?

Where is the honor of this "Japanese" company? Instead of the Samurai idea of death just do the right thing Eisai. Listen to what the reps are saying this is
"First of all, in lands such as Japan, honour was always seen as an almost-duty (by Samurai, but also the common citizenry). When you lost your honour or the situation made you lose it, there was only one way to save your dignity: death. Seppuku (vulgarly called "harakiri," or "belly-cutting") was the most honourable death in that situation. The only way for a Samurai to die more honourably was to be killed in a battle by a sword. Today, people in Japan, hold on to their dignity and don't want their honour to be lost." http://www.zabaware.com/forum/uploaded/Calhoone/200822312118_Honor.txt
