Zimmer is not the only company to slow down on professional education. Corporate compliance has made it extremely difficult - exhaustingly cumbersome - to assemble and to compensate faculty, let alone to secure a modest, educational venue. This is another government intervention program that overreaches to the point of being nearly anti-business. The government is killing business in America through overregulation.
Seems the best route to educate is via a shot gun approach by providing grants to societies like OTA, NASS, AAOS, etc.
