Edarbi-No more

Stupid asses on our leadership team!! Let's just screw the Edarbi reps again, I have had my product weightings and focused changed about every 6 months in the past 2 years. Really just when we get an upward momentum going they pull the rug out from under us. Now I have to spend more time re-targeting, changing my focus and letting , my prescribers know that "oh wait, no I don't have that product anymore!"

I think I need a lot of drinks to cope with this damn company!!!

I totally agree with this post. Not happening to me this go around, but definitely did a couple of times in the last 2 years. Momentum shot for sure.

Your biggest problem is you care. I stopped caring about 4 months after the merger. Just go through the motions and get my signatures. Rarely talk about the drugs. Don't have much time to anyway with the metrics. Goals are set by rolling the dice. Just get my signatures and bank my big paycheck. If you stop caring, working here is great.

You speak for many of us,who also stopped caring since the attitude/culture change in 2010,and why should we?How many different ways can management show us that they don't care about us.This used to be the best job in pharma and through the efforts of management,it is now the worst, demotivating job I have ever had,but not for much longer, thankfully!

Here's something funny. I saw a 15 veteran TAP/TEK walking into a Dr's office at NOON, why is that funny you ask? She has never worked a Friday in those 15 years, and if she did it would be until about 10 AM and that would be to get legit signatures because she didn't work that Wed and Thur.

Why is she working now on Friday? Shouldn't she be working less now that one of her drugs got pulled out of her bag?

Amen. You forgot to mention that it seems there is no rhyme or reason to how sales goals are set and achieved. I really stopped caring when I made just as much or more bonus when I totally slacked compared to me busting my ass. You are when you say all the metrics we have now make sure that we don't have any meaningful product discussions. If I can wait 30 minutes to actually chat with a doctor I don't. I just get the signature and move on so that I can make my metrics. It's a shame. If I wait and can get 10 solid minutes with him I could get some Rx's. Instead, the company makes me blow that off so I can make my allotted call number for the day. Funny way to run a company. If you don't trust your reps you should fire them or get some managers that can hire a motivated team that will work without having to track them with metrics. All the good people have left here or are so unmotivated they just go through the motions.

But hey, a lot of us have really big base salaries so we stick around. Bonus is just the icing on the cake and with such big base salaries I'm no longer needing a lot of frosting.
