Draft Christie?

After watching the debacle known as the Faux news repuke debate, the behind the scenes players are still trying to convince fat Christie, to put down his pasta fried, chicken, krispy kreme donuts and pizza, (man, that dude is FAT), and try to get the nomination. The repuke powers realize that the 9 stiffs who danced around the questions last night, are proving that none of them will be able to beat Obama. In fact, Perry is like a wounded bull, Bawwkmann is proving she is stupid, Cain is a intellectual flyweight with his 9-9-9 plan, and Santorum is just an mean, angry silly little man who is a wannabe. Please let Perry be the nominee, and it will easily be 4 more years for the prez.

Christie is a commielib who is the next chosen one from the Republican establishment. However, he could easily beat President Epic Fail.

Any of the Republican field could beat Obama save Paul and Huntsman.

The trick is winning the Republican nomination. Whoever can do that will beat Obama. If not it will be incontrovertible evidence that we have jumped the shark as a nation and are doomed to be a mere shadow of the nation which we have been for well over 100 years, the greatest and most influential on the planet.

It's a longshot, but I'd love to see Newt get it just for the sheer enjoyment of watching him completely dismantle Obama in the debates and leave him dazed and mumbling behind his podium, looking like the idiot that he is.

Lot's of our liberal friends like to believe that Obama is brilliant, but he can't even begin to match Newt intellectually.

Christie is at least smart enough to realize that the GOP primary season will be brutal. The survivor who is awarded the GOP candidacy will be a wreck from all the pummeling done by fellow candidates before the real campaign for the Presidency begins.

He also has seen the polls showing that the only GOP candidate who can win is a generic candidate and with the Teabagger crowd dominating the decision process, that isn't going to happen.

If Cristie runs, it will be in 2016. Though he has really got to do something about his girth.

You are my new-found pal, but if we are in the same spot 12 months from now, and if anyone picks up on this Solyndra thing, it won't matter who is running against him.

I think Christie is smart enough to realize he doesn't have the experience to run despite representing what many in the nation want in the national office. The polls mean nothing this early in the game, except republican compared to republican. It is sad you are so hung up on Christie's looks yet that is off limits with the squirrelly guy in office.

Primaries can be brutal and let's hope it provides discovery on candidates. Let's also hope voters are smart enough this time around to not dismiss reams of negative information about a candidate like they did with obama.
