Cutting regulations:

In his first term, like Republican presidents before him, Trump made cutting regulations a key focus and even held photo ops at the White House to underline his determination before the cameras. But like his predecessors, he actually had a mixed record overall.

During his entire first term, according to data from Goldbeck's group, Washington finalized 1,336 regulations across a range of government agencies — with a total cost of $64.7 billion to businesses and almost 330 million paperwork hours.

In fact, Trump actually increased regulations on business in three of the four years he was in office. It was only in 2018 when the cost of regulations saw a decrease.

Yes, there's that and his tariff bluster - claiming it will fix the border with regards to fentanyl and illegals. Trump declared that once in the White House, he will impose the tariffs unless Mexico stops migrants and fentanyl from “pouring” into the United States. This is a bullshit bluff as I see it. It could, theoretically, get Mexico to slow the migrant flow, allowing him to pull back on tariffs later and boast that, on the border, he bent Mexico to his will. He's image conscious and loves to be perceived as the Superman. He even printed his own Superman trading cards.
