After going through and hearing what most of us have experienced over the past few days I was in a state of panic, pissed off, could spit on Novartis and everything else. I have to tell you that I hugged my child before he left for preschool this morning and all that went through my mind as I had a big hug from him in which he told me that he loved me was "screw novartis. this is what matters. this company does not and never will define me." This could be a blessing in disguise for all of us. While I hope the company gives great packages, I am confident that we will come through this like anything else. It's life. Take everything you have learned from this experience and do something that you truly want to do! Don't ever depend on corporate america again. those days are over. look at the things in your life that are so wonderful. i would much rather let go of novartis than my kids or spouse or anything that really matters to me.
