Don't let the media lackeys for Obummer sway your thinking. They will always tell you who they fear the most.
Look at the onslaught they are putting on Governor Perry. Why? It is because they fear him. They don't want anyone to run against Obummer that can pose stark contrasts to his dismal record of failure.
They went after Palin. They went after Bachman.
Now, they will of course yell that this is in fact not the case. That they secretly want Perry to be the nominee because he will make it ever so easy on Obummer. Well, if that were the case, then why not let Perry sail through to the nomination? Why try to derail him? Why try to nitpick every single thing he does?
They did the same thing in 2008. They went after every conservative candidate until they got their chosen one which was McShamnesty. Once McShamnesty got the nomination, his once adoring media turned on him. Many conservatives didn't vote for him.
Given a choice between Obummer and Obummer lite, the Obummer team knows that people will just choose Obummer. So do his sycophants both here and in the media.
They want to depress the conservative turnout becuase they know they will have trouble with their own base. They know they are in deep trouble in 2012. There is no way things can reasonably turn around by election day. That is why Obummer schemed so cynically with Sony to put out the Osama movie in October of 2012. Could you imagine the media howls if ti was Bush?
Now, the die hards of Obummer will deny this vociferously, but they protest too much. They are skeered for their chosen one. They know that the Supreme Court lies in the balance. There are some very old liberal justices on the bench that probably won't make it another four years. A GOP President plus pickups in the Senate means the Supreme courts makeup gets changed for a generation. Then you will see the left wingers howl like stuck pigs.
So don't let up. Stick to your guns. Support the most conservative candidate you can. We can win this thing and turn our country around and restore it to greatness and get it out from under the boot of socialism.
